Linaro started with a simple frustration: pants that didn't fit on bloated days, fabrics that didn't breathe, waistbands that left marks by lunch. We wanted one piece that looked considered and felt like nothing — so we made it ourselves.
Our mission
We believe clothing should be on your side. It should soften with wear instead of falling apart. It should let you exhale after a long lunch instead of digging into your ribs. It should make you feel beautiful on the days you don't feel like trying.
Linaro exists to make slow, considered linen pieces that work the way real bodies do. Pieces you reach for first, wear into the ground, and pass on a decade later still in shape.
Designed slowly
Each piece goes through dozens of fittings on real bodies — postpartum, perimenopausal, tall, petite, in-between. We design once, and we design it well.
Made to last
Long-staple European linen woven in a family-run mill in northern Portugal. Linen that softens with every wash and looks better in year five than year one.
Made for everyone
Bloated days, postpartum recovery, menopause, long-haul flights, just life. Our soft-tie waist meets you where you are — without compromise.

Comfort first, always.
If a piece looks beautiful but you can't breathe in it, it's a failure. We test every garment in 12-hour wear trials before it ships.
Honesty over hype.
We tell you the actual inseam, the actual fibre content, and the actual factory. No mystery, no marketing fog.
Fewer, better.
We launch 3 to 4 pieces a year — not 300. Every release is something we genuinely believe deserves to exist.
Real bodies, real fits.
Our fit models range from XS to XL, age 24 to 67. If it doesn't work on all of them, it doesn't ship.
Made fairly.
Our atelier partners pay above-market wages, with sick leave, parental leave and pensions. We visit twice a year and we're transparent about who they are.
Built to outlast trends.
We design for a wardrobe you'll keep for 15 years — not 15 weeks. Repairs are free for life. Send it in, we'll fix it.
A note from the founder
"I wanted one pair of pants I could wear for the rest of my life."
I started Linaro the year I turned 36, six months after my second daughter was born. Nothing in my closet fit. The trousers I'd loved for a decade felt sharp and unkind. The new ones I bought were either shapeless or built like medical compression.
I sketched the Riviera on the back of a hospital discharge form. A soft tie, a crossover front, a wide leg that actually swept the floor. It took us eighteen months and forty prototypes to get it right. Today we ship to 47 countries — and the women writing in tell us the same thing I felt that first morning I wore the prototype: finally.
